As a young girl growing up in Dublin, Frances Brosnan was greatly encouraged by her mother to involve herself in the creative process, which in turn led to a lifelong interest and love of the arts. Frances has lived and worked in both the UK and Australia and completed an Advanced Certificate in Studio Textiles in Melbourne College of Textiles in 1992. Frances studied Fine Art in Bray Institute of Further Education culminating in a BA Honours Degree in Ceramic Art & 3D Design from West Wales School of the Arts. Frances has had her work exhibited in Ireland and Wales and was awarded the Mill Cove Award for Ceramics 2010. She works in a studio at her home and is employed as a Staff Artist in the Signal Arts Centre in Bray, Co Wicklow.
